Abuse
Customers are responsible for all scripts, data and objects on their accounts. Abusive scripts are scripts which interfere with our systems and/or the accounts of other customers, or cause harm to any other computer system. Any account found to be the source of abusive scripts will be suspended and investigated. We will always notify customers and, where necessary, fully co-operate with the authorities. The sending of bulk, unsolicited e-mail is prohibited at all times.
Adult Content
No adult material of any nature, including that which is permissible under United Kingdom laws is strictly forbidden.
Illegal content
Any content deemed illegal by either US or UK law or the law of your country of residence is strictly forbidden and any material in breach of this condition must be deleted within 24 hours of written (e-mail or letter) notification or any affected accounts will face indefinite suspension and/or termination without refund or exception. We will fully co-operate with the authorities regarding any breach of the law.
Service Level Agreement
We guarantee 100% network availability and 99.9% service uptime, excluding planned or emergency server maintenance or conditions beyond our reasonable control. All customers will be notified of planned maintenance at least 48 hours in advance.
For every hour of preventable downtime we will credit a full 24 hours' costs to every account.
Payment
Yearly services will be paid for one year in advance. Monthly services will be billed monthly. In all cases renewal warnings will be sent at a minimum of 24 hours' notice.
All services must be paid for within 7 days of notification unless a written adjustment has been agreed. Failure to complete payment after this time will result in automatic account suspension until all debts are paid.
Overusage
Account usage is checked frequently. All accounts will receieve notification when bandwidth usage is nearing the account's limit. Overusage will result in automatic account suspension unless a prior agreement has been reached. Upon suspension please contact us to arrange upgrade pricing. Package upgrades are also possible at any time. If no package upgrade is chosen, overusage fees are £1 per 10 megabytes of hard disk space and £2 per gigabyte of bandwidth and must be paid before the account will be unsuspended. Failure to pay overusage charges will result inimmediate suspension and/or termintion.
Due to the nature of shared hosting each website lies with many other websites on the same server and as such they must peacefully co-exist. We do not have any hard usage limits and will not suspend accounts without warning. If we believe an account is having a negative effect on server performance we will contact the account owner to discuss options. We reserve the right to enact defensive movements such as immediately suspending accounts which cause an extremely detrimental traffic surge.
If you believe your website may be susceptible to very high usage you must contact us to discuss the suitability of our shared hosting environment.

Green-Host will not be held liable for any losses or damages caused by or related to use or loss of our service including but not limited to downtime, loss of data or lack of backups. Our backups are not intended to replace your backup procedures. If your account holds important data then it is your sole responsibility to ensure its integrity and backup reliability as necessary. We disclaimany warranty, fitness for purporse or service level agreement exceeding our Service Level Agreement as stated earlier in this document.
Cancellation, refunds, termination and disputes
Cancellation notices must be given at a minimum of 48 hours in advance of the next billing date. Refunds will be given for every whole un-used prepaid month.
A breach of any of the terms and conditions as described on this page will result in immediate termination with no refund.
